T-46 Ten Dollar Civil War Issue 1862 PF-02 Very Good CC
A T-46 obsolete ten dollar southern civil war currency note with Ceres resting on Cotton Bales drom 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. Type 46 bills were erroneously dated September 2nd, 1862. They feature Ceres resting on cotton bales in the center vignette, on the right is R.M.T. Hunter who was secretary of state for the Confederacy in 1861. In the obsolete Confederate currency book by Fricke he designates this bill as PF-2, meaning the clause at the top has been corrected from six month to six months. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only is very good with X cut cancels. The pictures show the front and back of the actual type 46 CSA bill that is for sale.
