Clarksville TN Planters Bank Eighty Cents Obsolete Note 1862
An obsolete eighty cents banknote from the Clarksville Branch of the Planters Bank in Tennessee dated January 1st, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This is a note from a rare bank and even rarer denomination. Odd denominations were common in the obsolete money field, but eighty cents was very uncommon. In the Tennessee Currency book this note was rated at R-13, meaning only 5 to 10 are still estimated to exist. Our estimate on condition is very good with some pinholes.
