Love in Mist, Sweet Cherry and Spanish Chestnut art poster
An archival premium quality poster style print of Love in a Mist, Sweet Cherry and Spanish Chestnut made from a medieval illuminated manuscript for sale by Brandywine General Store. The manuscript page was made by Joris Hoefnagel and Georg Bocskay in 1561 - 62 with the illumination being added 30 some years later. The medium used was watercolors, gold and silver paints and ink put down on parchment. The blue flower, cherries and chestnut are at the bottom of the page while medieval style printing fills the top of the page. Some of the writing and some of the stems to the Love in a Mist flower have faded over the centuries, but still a great looking piece of art.
