T-50 $50 Dollar Civil War Issue 1862 PF-13 extra fine
A T-50 Jefferson Davis fifty dollar obsolete civil war treasury bill issued by the southern Central Government in 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This bill is designated as PF-13 in the Fricke reference book, meaning it is 3rd series with Keatinge and Ball Columbia, SC above fundable on the left margin, two flourishes are below the de in Confederate and printed on CSA watermarked paper surrounded by a wavy line. It is rated as R1 on the rarity scale which is common. Our estimation of grade to be used as a reference only is extra fine, there are a couple minor spots of staining on the very bottom, mostly noticeable on the reverse, if not for this the bill would be choice in every way with great color, full margins and crisp printing.
