An obsolete five dollar civil war Forced Issue banknote issued by the Bank of Louisiana from New Orleans on May 22, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This obsolete LA currency has a large eagle in the center vignette and a dark blue stamp with Forced Issue Registered on the left side. Our estimation of condition is choice fine with nice dark printing and very dark blue forced issue stamp. The serial number is 415.
