CR #08 Virginia Obsolete ten Dollar Treasury Note 1862 PMG 53
A ten dollar obsolete Virginia treasury note issued October 15, 1862 from the second issue of Bills issued by VA during the Civil War for sale by Brandywine General Store graded by PMG at AU 53. The left vignette is a portrait of Thor on a shield, in the center is Prosperity with a cornucopia flanked by 2 green X protectors. The serial number is 11130 Criswell ranked this Southern Money as CR #08 which means it was the regular note of the issue. The pictures show the front and back of the actual Virginia obsolete civil war treasury bill certified by PMG at Almost uncirculated 53 that is for sale.
